Marina Cuesta is Creative Director at Dieste Inc., a multicultural advertising agency based in Dallas, part of the Omnicom Group. She joined the Dieste team in 2014, to work for clients such as: GOYA, HBO, Pizza Hut, Duracell, P&G Orgullosa, Gillette, The Wild Detectives and Florida International University.
She began her career as a copywriter for TBWA/SPAIN, where she gained significant knowledge and experience in international brands. In 2012 she joined the Spanish agency CHINA Madrid, where she strengthened the creative team and acquired new clients. Marina worked for clients such as: McDonald’s, Apple, Sony, PlayStation, Chevrolet, Absolut Vodka, Adidas, KFC, Masterfoods, Häagen-Dazs, Schweppes, Shiseido, Nars, TOYS’R US, Sitges International Film Festival…
Her professional trajectory has garnered immense success. She was selected by Cannes Lions Festival to be part of its See it Be it Program in 2016. Also, her campaigns have been recognized in a variety of international festivals including Cannes Lions, Facebook Award, One Show, Webby Awards, FIAP, Club de Creativos, Wave Río, El Dorado, Laus, etc. And she has even had the honor of being part of the jury in El Ojo de iberoamérica, El Sol Festival Iberoamericano de Publicidad, El Cóndor Festival de Ecuador and USH Idea Awards.
She is an excellent communicator and deeply invested in the growth and development of junior-creatives. She has collaborated with the creative school Zink Project! and European University of Madrid. As one of the few female Creative Directors in the industry, she often participates in talks and panels empowering young women to pursuit their goals.
